- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My daughter had a tough time with her palette expander and retainer. She hated them and told me she didn't want braces, even though she definitely wants straight teeth. Dr. Chase talked with the two of us and stressed for my daughter that her attitude would affect her experience. He encouraged her to think positively and embrace the end goal. She agreed to get the braces.
